When at http://www.rr.com/
find "mail" on right hand side near top
Click "Mail"
Fill in user name which is you road runner email address and your password
Get mail
Practice sending email as this is how you will do when away from home. Your emails will stay online until you get at your home computer (through your mail program which in your case is Outlook Express) when you get your mail normally. All emails will will be removed from the online (server) of Road Runner after downloaded. Of course you cannot see any emails on line after been downloaded.
NOTE: ADDED: Send your self as a cc or bcc a copy of every email sent from online, that way you will have a copy of what you sent on your home computer after you download your mail normally.
