Hide & Unhide Rows & Columns
Although you may need to include a lot of data for the formulas in your worksheet, you may not want to view all the columns or rows of inconsequential numbers. Fortunately, you can hide the data in Microsoft Excel, so the information is still part of the formulas on the spreadsheet, but it won’t be displayed in the worksheet view. To hide a row, click the row you want to remove from the view and press CTRL-9. For a column, choose the appropriate column and click CTRL-0. To unhide the row or column, click CTRL-SHIFT-9 or CTRL-SHIFT-0, respectively.
