This is what we did today to try and get printer to recognize wi fi.
1. We cut the printer off and on several times, then unplugged it
several times, waiting 10 or 15 seconds between unplugging and replugging.
2. We went through all kinds of trying to get it to reconnect from the
pc side - meaning we went to the computer set up information and tried
to see if we could do something there.
3. We pressed around on the top two buttons on the NetGear box.
4. Don came over and then started working with the printer set up from
the actual printer. We did not get success nor did we get any real
clues on what to do to get the printer to recognize wi fi.
5. Finally, we plugged the lan wire (gray) into a slot in a recessed
area on the pc thinking we would just keep it wired. (It is the top slot
in the recessed area.) This caused the wi fi light to come on. When we
then unplugged the lan wire, the wi fi worked!!!!!
