Smugmug Collecting

  1. First speed read the info at the following Help link, do not worry about understanding well as below I will take you step by step through. The picture will help you understand my instructions. (might have to cut and paste) http://www.smugmug.com/help/collecting-photos
  2. Be sure your Smugmug is open. Determine where you want to put the picture you will "collect" from me. If want a new one, go ahead and create . .
  3. I find it easier to work in Style of Thumbnail when you are in a gallery . .
  4. Go to the Gallery you want to get picture from . . I find it easier to work in Style of Thumbnail when you are in a gallery . . .Here's how: Find a picture you want on the other gallery (It can be on your Smugmug or on a "friend's" Smugmug account who allows you on as a friend. I am your "friend" ). Use my Smugmug as the test.   5. Use the picture that comes up or Click on the thumbpnail / picture in (my) gallery you want and it will open a bigger copy. It is the last one at bottom probably
  6. When picture opens, at top see "collect photo" and click on itclick here
  7. in the drop down menu of "pick a Gallery" select YOUR gallery where you want to send the collected picture . .click to select your gallery
  8. then "click the right side button saying "Collect Photo" to Put it there in your gallery.
  9. now Go to where you think you put it; and if you do not find, either try again or let me know. If it is there, for fun click to get big picture, notice on bottom place to click to go to original and if you click it you will go back to my original gallery and picture.
